smiting the ubers?

first of all im only doin 2 k dmg. i am a lower lev tough only lev 74 but i still feel like it should be higher.... whats enough dmg to kill the ubers solo? and what should i do about resistance and and extra skill points plz help me out?!?!?

Might help if you list your gear...if your using grief then the +dmg isn't shown on the dmg screen, but rest assured that you are still doing massive dmg. What the dmg screen shows isn't too important in trist, your CB takes down most of their life anyways. Keep leveling up if you want to make it easier on yourself. Do believe your res problems were discussed in your other thread...kiras/shael'd wiz spike, salvation, prebuff fade, etc...read the guides all the info you need is in there.

im using greif and the screen is showing 2.3k dmg is this acualy alot more?
and is there ny way to know good dmg that i should be doin with greif?

I solo'ed uber trist for the first time with my smiter.

Got Grief pb.
Damage with Zeal: 1135-1290
Damage with Smite: 170-237

Smite can easily reach 5k dmg with grief, there is a calculation around here somewhere, but there is no reason to worry about it...grief=kills all(including yourself with IM)

5k dmg holy crap lol. i got the gear i just gota get the gcs then i should be up there at like 4k if that..

I was told fort+ damage does not get added to smite damage

Forts 300% ED does help smite, just not that big of a boost.

Off weapon ed such as fort does effect smite same as phoenix shield but on weapon ed doesn't same goes for +X% ed to demons/undead such as Loh or Coh

Thats why the only way to go for a smiter is Eni.. Or CoH if u lack resists..

Eni's +str adds quite alot of dmg..

I went from 2.3 to 2.6 when I switched to eni..

And the teleport can come in handy... even though it is quite slow..

Tele zeal is quite a good strategy to get out of trouble in pvp it is especially handy against casters/zons, you could always have a spirit and wiz on switch too

Enigma is a must for pvp smiters, but for pvm CoH/Fort are both very viable options.

I agree BAMF for ubers CoH is my favorite armor to use good res damage reduced and a nice little str bonus, the damage to undead/demons is good while zealing but i find it unnecessary much like the damage from fort but its still nice to have.
