Smiter rookie [EuSCL]

Hi, I just created a smiter, and I am already in need of help I have some questions that I hope you can answer...

First off, to set things straight, I use maxed charge, smite and fanaticism.. haven't decided on the leftover skill points yet, but I am leaning towards Holy Shield.

I was wondering whether weapon mods are transferred to shield when smiting. For example if I use Stormlash as a weapon? Should I use another weapon than stormlash?

How much dex do I need for max block if I use HoZ?

How much str do I need if I plan on getting good runeword armor in the future?

Thanks in advance for replying, and please don't flame... I know people are sick of noobs asking for smiter-guidance

Please start by reading the guides.

Holyshield is where smite gets a lot of its dmg from.

Stormlash is a decent weapon, but weapons with +dmg(grief) make your smite dmg massive.

Need to know your level for max block, search for the formula to learn how to figure it out.

Str all depends on what gear you have and what you plan on. Most runeword armors will be made in APs/Dusk Shrouds.

String of ears/Verds are much better options than nos belt, tgods/tals belt/ik belt/etc can all be used for ubers/pvm to sure up your build.
