smite vs sacrifice

I was building a 1 point smiter zealot when I saw a build that was very similar except it maxed smite in stead of sacrifice. It;s explanation was convincing. I plan on using this build for very general play, a mut so to speak. Ubers, pindle, pits, meph, countess, etc etc etc. would it suit these objectives more to max smite or sacrifice? Thanks for your input.

Max sacrifice really helps out your zeal, which will be your main non-ubers non-boss attack.

You could always max sacrifice and then afyer you have max zeal, fant, sac, and holy shield, just start boosting your smite rather than your defiance for added defense.

Yeah i have to agree with chase, boosting smite damage isn't as necessary as boosting zeal damage since it's mostly crushing blow that deals damage to ubers so if you start adding points into smite last i think that's a better option

to Echo what the others have said, Sac is the way to go.

Your still gona get enough damage out of smite to down the ubbers/boss's your running. But if your gona spend 20 points in Zeal you might as well get Sac to boost it as much as possible

as long as you have CB you will do just fine, might take a just a tad longer but its no big deal

Use smite if you are going p vs p smiting. Otherwise sac.
