Smattering of Innane Questions

...from a returning player, about any possible trade market changes from 1.09 to 1.10, and one silly n00b MF question.

1. Do those 100 pd sc still hold their ye ol' value?

2. Has the value of Necromancer items increased greatly? For example, not long before the changeover, I traded an Arm of King Leoric for an Um rune; would such a trade still be viable in 1.10?

3. Rerolling maps is a mystery to me, and the search function yields no helpful results. How exactly is this accomplished?

Any help would inordinately appreciated, and would make me consider adding you to my Christmas card mailing list (if I had one)

1. not really. new runewords, synergies and all other new stuff made the 100 damage not quite as useful as before ;)

2. Some items have gone up in value. Arm of King Leoric is still the best weapon for skelliemancers, which became effective as 1.10 came
New items are still worth loads sometimes ;)

3. You mean finding ways to meph etc? There was a guide about that somewhere, dont remember :S try searching for it, or hope someone that knows will post here :D

1. Not as much due to Bowazons being dead, but a few people still want them, I believe that have some value but tbh I have no idea how much in general.

2. You should never pay more than a few pgems for an Arm of king leoric. Getting an Um for it is great :p In general if the necro gear is related to posion and bone it has increased in value. while everything else has stayed around the same

3. No idea what you mean, if you are talking about rerolling charms I can help (it's charm + 3 pgems in cude, transmute and you'll get new properties on the charm, repeat until satisfied.)

I think you might be referring to rerolling maps in single player. All games created through multiplayer have randomly rolled maps, regardless, but the maps in single player are only changed if your character changes a difficulty level, or makes a multiplayer game (TCP/IP).

This means that it's possible to get a good map for magic find runs. If you want to do hell meph runs, and the stairs down is too far away from the waypoint in the durance of hate level 2, you can temporarily make a game on the NM difficulty, and then quit and remake on hell difficulty to reroll the durance of hate level 2 map, to hopefully try and get a map where the stairs are right next to the waypoint. Once you do have a map where the stairs are close by, as long as you keep making single player games, and stay on the same difficulty, the map will never change.
