skill allocation...

I'm a lvl 91 Fury Druid that is strictly PvM. I have 14 skill points that I have not used b/c everything I want maxed is so far. Here is my current layout...

Lycanthropy = 20
Werewolf = 20
Fury = 20
Feral Rage = 1
Rabies = 1
Raven = 1
Spirit Wolf = 1
Dire Wolf = 1
Grizzly = 1
Arctic Blast = 1
Cyclone Armor = 1

I was thinking about throwing some more points into Grizzly to make him even more of a tank but I was also thinking having a high lvl Rabies would be nice. The only drawback from that is I won't have enough points to put into Poison Creeper to make Rabies that effective. Let me know what you think.

Re: skill allocation...

From my experience, I find rabies is not that effective against monsters. What about putting points in a spirit like oak sage?
But I'm guessing u have one maxed because your skills dont add up. I n that case im not sure. :(

Max Dire Wolves if you want tanks. Points into Griz only adds damage, not life.

The other option could also be the 1.09 route of maxing both spirits. If you're PvM-ing with a Windy, chances are his spirit is higher level than yours, so switch to HoW and add damage/AR. Even at one point with +skills, my Griz is a beast in PvM, so that may be where the rest of my points go (and mine's PvP even).

honestly for this build and the fact its pvm it doesnt really matter. you already have the essential skills maxed. a better question would be what do you prefer ? id probably just max direwolves so your grizzly can tank more.

If you are planning to do the Ubers with this guy you might want to put point in Ferral Rage since it's the skill you should use against the ubers...

Welcome to the wild, wild world of wolves!

As mentioned above, rabies isn't the best skill in PvM. Points into Feral rage is a good idea for ubering and for focusing your attacks on one entity while being surrounded by the enemy. Some like to put points into a second spirit giving them options when dealing with different situations (not my favorite style, but I should mention it for completeness). Consider some points into Griz bear for increased damage output. Your Oak Sage should allow the bear to have some hefty hit points (and you can always recast if you need to).

What I'd recommend if I was in your shoes? I'd probably dump points into griz for better damage output if I wasn't planning on doing a lot of ubering. If ubering is your thing, then I'd dump points into feral. You could split the difference between the two skills and dump 7 points into each.

good luck and good hunting!

Hmm, if I were you I would've regret I put points into oak sage, and wished I had boosted HoW instead. IMO it's the best spirit for all pure melee or pure summon or pure melee/summon builds.

HoW doesn't give you as great as a boost as you might think. The extra life is well worth the extra 800ish dmg and little boost to AR.

I don't even think it's 800 ish >.>

HoW stacks linearly with Fury's already outrageous ED so it won't do nearly as much as you think.
