    Skeleton types?

    Hey there everyone,

I just started playing a Skeleton based Necromancer the other day and i realized something strange. At first all of my skeletons only had axes but then a few levels later they had kite shields and flails. Can anyone please explain why that happens and how it affects the gameplay? Thanks.

By the way, I have 3 points into Raise Skeleton and 4 in Skeleton Mastery. And I'm playing v1.09 so that might be the reason why...

I've noticed this, too. From what I can tell, it reflect their level. When I summon my skellis at 34, they have sabres and kite shields. At 32, sabres and round shields. Not sure though.

when you put more points into them their defence and attack power get greater and so do their armor and weapons....

It's not the answer, but yes upgrade.

1.10 = Fewer Skeles, but the are exponentially more powerful.

    Skele-Squared

It's just a display thing. I'm not sure it affects anything. Maybe it's to show taht if you lvl, you know which skeles you need to replace for higher skill point skeles?

I think it is the skeleton mastery level that affects the skeletons look. Not completely sure but am pretty sure.
