    Singleplayer transfer

Is it possible to transfer items from one character to another in singleplayer?(offline, not in battlenet or any network at all)

You can with a program called 'ATMA'.

They used to have a link for it in the dropdown menu, but I can't find it now.

    Ehm..
Is it supposed to copy things or just move it?
I just moved an armor from my amazon to my assassin, now both my amazon and assassin has it?

    Re: Singleplayer transfer

Couldn't you just have two copies of the game, and play in open? and transfer stuff?

Edit: my mistake as in OP stating to be offline

    yep ATMA.

It is possible to accidentally duplicate an item. The simplest way to ensure that you don't is to never use ATMA while the game is active. ATMA has a built in dupe detector which you may wish to run ocassionally to ensure your accounts stay clean. Its ability to read items' fingerprints is very useful in this situation.

Please note that there is an ATMA support and issue resolution thread stickied in the Single Player Forum. You will find a wealth of information there.

    Best of luck to you!

    Re: Singleplayer transfer

It's supposed to move items, not generate copies of items, just delete one and all is well.

The SPF has an ATMA sticky, which has already been linked to, try GoMule as well, that is good, can select multiple items at once, and generate flavie reports

Also try atma.diabloii.net for some more info on ATMA

    EDIT: woah, major pwnage

    Re: Singleplayer transfer

I've lost some items due to corruptions using ATMA so keep a zip or rar of everything. Note: You don't have to exit D2, just go out to the main menu then CTRL+Tab out to ATMA.

Flavie is good if you want to get into one of those 'Grail Tourneys' running in the SP Forum. Just go over to the Single Play Forum and introduce yourself, have a look around.

Tip: There's also mods that most Single Players use. Nuff said!

Yeah I usually save my save-files every now and then in a compressed file that I e-mail myself.

    Re: Singleplayer transfer

Couldn't you just save the items you want to xfer into, say, deleted and then export them onto whichever character you want?

Only if you didn't intend to MP, trade or interact at all with our SPF. See we frown upon the use of editors in the community. You could only use this method if you intended to keep your characters on your computer and not interact with anyone else's characters.
