Simpsons trivia time!

Well, I'm not in a mood to get my lab work done before tomorrow, so here's a quiz for all the Simpsons fans/geeks/obsessees that we have here. Three levels of questions. They get harder as you go along. How many do you know? I'll post the answers in a few days, just to make you all suffer. Muhahahaha!

Ralph Wiggum's 'Me fail english? That's unpossible!' level
1. What are the names of Marge's two sisters, and where do they work?
2. What was the name of the three-eyed fish that Bart caught near the nuclear power plant?
3. What is the official address of the Simpsons? (obviously the state part can be omitted)
4. List the order of the kids by their age.
5. Who is the family doctor that treats the Simpsons family on a regular basis?

Bart Simpson's 'Enriched Learning Center for Gifted Children' level
1. What was the word that Bart spelled out on the Scrabble board to 'win' the game in Bart the Genius?
2. What were the first words that Bart, Lisa, and Maggie said when they were babies? Bonus point for naming the person who voiced Maggie.
3. What is Homer's middle name?
4. Over the years, Homer has had tons of different jobs, but was he ever unemployed?
5. What is Krusty the Clown's real name?

Lisa Simpson's 'I am the Lizard Queen!' level
1. Which of these is not a Troy McClure movie?
a. Hydro, the Man With the Hydraulic Arms
b. The Computer Wore a Hula Skirt
c. The Boatjacking of Supership 79
d. Good-Time Slim, Uncle Doobie, and the Great 'Frisco Freak-Out
2. Who is Sam Etic?
3. In the regular Simpsons universe (that is, not the Halloween episodes or the occasional Simpsons Tales), there have been very few deaths, but one semi-recurring character was killed off screen. Who was it, how was it revealed that the character had died, and what was one reason the production crew killed the character?
4. In the opening credits, Maggie is scanned on a cash register. What does it say, and what does it represent?
5. Who are the members of the Homewreckers?

If all the questions are answered, you're more than welcome to post your own to see if you can stump us. Like that will ever happen though. ;)

KWIJIBO!!!

I have that episode somewheres.... and here's my answers, in approximate order.

Patty and Selma/ DMV, Blinky, something-something Evergreen Terrace Springfield, Bart 12, Lisa 10, Maggie 1?, Dr. Hebert (sometimes Nick Riviera)

Daddy, bonus: Matt Groening; J----something, yes, I forgot but its on the tip of my tongue.

Maude Flanders was iced but I dont recall the circumstances; on the scanner Maggie costs 847.63 (meaning unknown),

and I'm spent... I figure I got about half right.

Ralph Wiggum's 'Me fail english? That's unpossible!' level

Blinky. "Let's ask this actor portraying Charles Darwin..."
3. What is the official address of the Simpsons? (obviously the state part can be omitted)
Although there have been 2, perhaps 3, the most common and recurring one is 742 Evergreen Terrace. "My name is Jimbo Jones and I live at 742 Evergreen Terrace."

Jay.

5. What is Krusty the Clown's real name? Herschel Krustofsky.

Lisa Simpson's 'I am the Lizard Queen!' level
1. Which of these is not a Troy McClure movie?

c. The Boatjacking of Supership 79

2. Who is Sam Etic?
It's on the tip of my tongue, but I can't remember.

3. In the regular Simpsons universe (that is, not the Halloween episodes or the occasional Simpsons Tales), there have been very few deaths, but one semi-recurring character was killed off screen. Who was it, how was it revealed that the character had died, and what was one reason the production crew killed the character?
Don't know.
4. In the opening credits, Maggie is scanned on a cash register. What does it say, and what does it represent?
According to the 137th episode spectacular, it says NRA4Ever. But it really doesn't.
5. Who are the members of the Homewreckers? Jacques. Lurleen. Mindy. Don't know.

Close on the Scrabble one. But spelling counts! You're also really close on some of the other ones. But Matt Groening wasn't the voice of Maggie. Sorry.

And about Maude, that wasn't who I was looking for. I worded the question in a bad way in the first post. I was looking for a character that was killed and there wasn't an episode that dealt with the death. Maude's death was a whole episode, and that's not what I'm looking for. It's a character that was killed between episodes, and was barely mentioned. Like it was, oh, say, in the background or something (hint, hint).

Nice one with the cash register. Now, what does it mean?

-Rafty

Edit: Dang, jdawg. You got a lot of them. Except the Scrabble one. :p
Edit 2: Shoot, you're all quick. Still a few that seems to be stumpers. Muhahahaha!

If you weren't referring to Maude Flanders, then was it Marvin Monroe? Bleeding Gums Murphy?
Bleeding Gums had his own episode dedicated to his death.

I don't ever remember one about Marvin Monroe. I win. :D

The following are right answers:
All the Ralph Wiggum ones.

All the Bart Simpson ones except for the Scrabble one. Soooo close. Bonus points to Anakhahahaha (who can collect them later :wink2: ).

He also got the Troy McClure one (dang, I was hoping that would stump some more people). Marvin Monroe is the character that was killed. But the rest of that question is still out there. Sam Etic and what the significance of $847.63 are still up for grabs too.

Dang, we've got some Simpsons nerds on this board! :worship:

847.63 is the price of raising a baby for a month.

Sam Etic was actually Dustin Hoffman who, for contractual reasons, was not allowed to put his name on the show in the episode Lisa's Substitute.

The NRA forever was on the 100th episode I think, where Troy McClure joked that it said such, "Just one of the many right-wing messages that can be found in each episode of the Simpsons."

What it really is, well, I've got no idea about.

Question (that I don't know the answer to): How many episodes featured US presidents in one form or another, and which presidents were they (and how many times for each)?

EDIT: I'm pretty sure that they watch about the death of Marvin Monroe on the news or somesuch, and that he was taken off 'cuz of something to do with that opening sequence in the credits on the lawn and not having space due to a new char or something maybe.
