Anyone play? I'm downloading the game now
I know a few old forum goers like Stinger and Soul play. They have for quite a while now...maybe a year or more?
I tried it out for a day or two, but it got really old really fast for me. It was exactly the same as FlyFF, Kal Online, and Knights Online for me. The only thing that was different were the names of monsters, basically.
whatever it is, i just googled it and am in the process of downloading it right now. hope its not too graphics intensive
I also googled it and considered downloading it. But then I realized I didn't have time to start another game. lemme know if its fun.
If Silkroad Online is still what it's like when I quit, which must have been half a year ago or so, then it turns into a serious grind past maybe level 13 (once you start working on the bandit archers, anyway.) It's kind of interesting at first, and at least it's free, but it's a little bit of a challenge to actually stay in it long enough to reach level 20 and the ability to take jobs. Even then, the easiest convoy routes still had PC thief issues for beginners; I remember seeing what must have been level 32+ thieves hanging around, which would wipe the floor with any newbie's transport, or even a semi-decent one, for the area, and it still took a bit to level up any of the special classes (Hunter was a particular pain.)
Overall, I found it fun at first, but the grind-like feel and the lack of balance between PCs of different level got to me. The main reason I stuck with it as long as I did was because I had a few friends who played too. It certainly may have gotten better since then, but I wouldn't know if it did. I'd say it's worth a try, but be warned: it can definitely get boring without a few friends, ideally ones you know in real life or here. But hey, it could've changed, so if you're looking for something new, you could just give it a try for a while.
Hope that helps.
I played it and I was seriously disappointed. Was not fun at ALL!
Next try Maple Story. I got a character to 20 and don't ask me why!
I just downloaded rappelz. Google it. looks amazing.
Yep, it does infact look pretty sick! I might download it sometime this week.
I hit 30... I have no idea why I kept playing that long, I know for a fact I wasn't having any fun in the process.
I like maplestory...
I've actually been playing World of Warcraft!
This game is amazing.
Right now I am leveling a Nightelf Warrior
My professions are Tailoring/Enchanting
I need more strange dust to level up my enchanting =\
It's 8s each, but I don't feel like paying that considering I rarely have over 15s to spend.
Later tonight i'll be exchanging my WoW disks + a 10day free trial for my friends D2 disks. I can install it + loader and play both at the same time. That's how much this new computer rocks!
If anyone has a set of cdkeys that they aren't using and wouldn't mind lending me them for a while please PLEASE PM me. My cdkeys were saved in wordpad on my last computer, before it bit the dust =\
well i decided not to start the silkroad game, im playing runescape more now, as well as d2 and war3 of course.
This forum has been dead all day :x
Everyone should just get CS:Source so I can shoot them in the face...
Have it, played it, got shot in the face lots, quit playing it.
Actually I was decent at the Office map but I have no idea why.
Once I downloaded some bots for it to practice. I set the bots on easy and proceeded to get my *** kicked. I decided that I must have accidentaly set the bots on hard and tried again. It wasn't until the 3rd or 4th time that I finaly decided that they were really hard and I infact sucked.
Well, I'm not sure when you played, but these days the bots (on easy/normal setting at least) are only hard in the sense that they tend to shoot automatically the instant you come around a corner. Their aim is still relatively horrible, and instead of running away when flashbanged they just stand there begging to be killed.
It's okay if you suck, though. You can play with me and Jugs; I'm barely average (less than a 1.0 kill ratio normally) and Jugs is downright horrible (more like a 0.7 kill ratio ).
can you install the whole program through steam, no cds required? i have/played cs:cz for a while, maybe ill pick up souce if my comp could handle it
It was actually a long time ago when I had those bots... as in before Source.
I actually think it would be fun to play a bit of CS with you folks, maybe I'll dust it off and reinstall it.
I think that is correct, no cd's required. But they will require your credit card number...
It's funny, cause I'm really bad at D2, but rock at Source. But it's boring now
Thats ok, I'm really bad at D2, and I'm really bad at Source.
