interesting placement of icons there XD

Anyway, here is mine. The lack of icons on the desktop (with the exception of the recycle bin which I'm about to remove anyway) is due to my messy desktop phobia that I've developed over the past desktops that I've had (which were a horrible mess). Now that I don't have any icons on it, there is no mess ^.^

Actually, 'tis not KDE, it's gnome. :smug:
I was never really into the whole bar at the top... so I pretty much just customize it to be similar to windows, which in turn makes it a KDE imposter :thumbup

Here's an interesting side story.
For the longest time, I simply used XP (I had been using the newer releases of Ubuntu, and the graphics drivers were horrible, I couldn't really run d2 well, so I ended up using XP a lot because I play D2 quite a bit and I'm too lazy to reboot)
Well one day, I decided to look into it. And after putting an older release of Ubuntu on (8.04 instead of 9.10-10.04) I finally managed to fix the d2 problem. Keep in mind during this time, the XP partition was working fine, virus free and everything.
So my first thought was, wow, I can finally get rid of windows. So I decided I would reboot, and boot into windows, so I could see how much there was I wanted to salvage.
Oh, but no. The windows knew what I was thinking, and knew it's end was coming near. So upon trying to boot, I got greeted with the nice suicide note "NTLDR IS MISSING" :))
Needless to say, I found that pretty hilarious.

which part?

The text is Rainmeter program with Simple Sentence 2 configuration. The theme is something I found on deviantart. I could find it again if i had to.

The wallpaper I can get for you as well.

Just looked up rainmeter, that's incredible! Thanks! I wonder why I have never come across it before?

I used Rainmeter for a while, but now it just kinda gets in the way more or less. Sometimes I don't even bother turning it on anymore.
It's a very neat little device though.

Hows this for plain / old-school?

Desktop

My work desktop - It's actually dual screen but the second screen just has I-net explorer and same pic.
