Re: Show me your desktop!!

My Todd Rundgren mem stick arrived today, a recording of the Concert I attended in London in February this year.

Naturally, my desktop now looks like this now (and the concert is playing as I speak) :)

hehe... funny story about this one. i have called it Forum Demographics.

see, i was on the phone with Marahumm, talking about how angry and highly annoyed i was about all the paper work and other info you have to turn in for Defensive Driving. i know it doesn't seem like a lot, but i get confused bcuz everything seems to run in together... anyway, i was on Paint and i was taking my anger out about that and how lame Jackson Pollock is (great artist, don't get me wrong, but what exactly did he do that was so special that an 8 yr. old couldn't do? maybe an art major can tell me. thanks! :)) and how i can do the same. so, i was taking my aggressions out and i came upon Forum Demographics. all of a sudden (when i was doing the pink dots), it came to me what this picture was and what it represented. after i was done ranting and was off the phone with Mara, i did some more analyzing and here are some of the many things i came up with:

Green Lines = Mods

Periwinkle Lines = Elly, Rush, Flux

Red Spray Painted Lines = Flame Wars

Purple Spray Painted Lines = Frivolity

Pink Dots = Suppressed Femininity

Pale Yellow Spot in the corner = The Future of the Forums (may it be bright and happy)

Black and White underneath everything = Location (black represents the night, white the daytime)

all of these factors come together and form this awesome picture. may y'all enjoy this forever and ever. :)

Kinda OT, but still (answer to Leo's question on previous site):

Pollock used fractals (allegedly). That's why his paintings are so appealing to the human eye - there's an unbelievable symmetry which only nature can reproduce.

But don't ask me how he managed to do that in his workroom, because I have no idea other that he's an alien from Pluto; I highly doubt this whole story anyway :badteeth:
