Shout vs Mastery on Zerker Barb

Hey,

I've already asked this question in barbarian forums, but I think you guys are good at calculating things, so if you could help me, please take a look. Here's my post from barbarian forums:

I'd like to make all the countings, but I have no idea how exactly should I do it. But here are the important facts:

lv12 Mastery
83% ed
116% ar
18% cs

lv31 Mastery
178% ed
268% ar
23% cs

lv12 Shout
120% ed
210% def

lv31 Shout
310% ed
400% def

So here's 12 Shout 31 Mastery vs 31 Shout 12 Mastery:

So it's basicly (95% ed 190% def) vs (152% ar 5% cs). Which one's better in your opinion?

Dunno if it will be helpful, but here are my ON-SCREEN stats on single with those skills:

Do you know how to calculate it? I think it should be calculable, cause +AR as well as +CS is the kind of +DMG anyway. The only non-comparable factor is +defense, but if I knew exactly how many +dmg (with ar/cs included) I get from 12/31 and 31/12, I'd probably easily choose which one I prefer.

What do you think?
ps. It could be pretty hard to convert +ar to +dmg cause having +3% to hit Diablo doesn't probably mean I will have exactly +3% to hit every other monster. But maybe it's possible to calculate it with some +/-

Quick answer: mastery.

The +ed is comparable and mastery nets you AR and CS. In any case, you should easily have 800+ ed without shout synergy, which makes another 200 (iirc) from it not much of a big deal. Also, whenever you use berserk, your defense drops to 0 for about a second, making shout edef bonus useless.

BTW only hard points on synergies count when calculating them, i.e. if you have +11 skills and only one hard point on shout you will get the synergy bonus to berserk for only that one point.

stick to damric's recommendation... get both, but pick whichever at the time suits you more first...
