i've been playing d2 for about 5 years now, and i've gotten everything in the game made every charactor, and now that there isn't too much of a point to play it anymore..... quests no longer interest me, there isn't a item i don't have, the only reason i play now a days is to rush my friends... i'm bored of magic finding, and pking isn't too much of a challenge anymore.. does anyone else have this problem ? i find myself "outside" more often...and actually doing house work instead of playing d2....... maybe if they came out with another update patch and change the game completly around again with new items and runes and runewords....

well have u started to play ladder yet? its so much better then normal realm play...just the fact that everyone has to start over again and that there are no dupes makes it a challenge again.

Yeah, play Hc, it's really refreshing. But don't expect no dupes from ladder, at least on europe

I am sort of in the same situation as you... although not as long or as uber rich. To keep my interest in this game going I have basically moved to the opposite gaming spectrum - that is Hardcore Ladder & totally untwinked. It's fun and challenging, and I dun have any qualms about the permanent death, should it happen. I still play softcore non-ladder with the company of friends or just taking an old char out for a spin.

When i feel burned out from play I come here to the forums for chat or to see new Ideas. I occasionally outline a story to submit ( Never get past 1/2 way). or idly pass time away making a new Avatar. When In doubt though, Delete and start over, Spend time rushing others and mfing for groups, or find a clan to keep the social interest in the game fresh.

If neither of these works can I have an account?

Im bored with D2 also, so I bought an exercise bike this weekend instead

In other words, do something different, and maybe in a few months D2 will be fun for you again.

I think that community around this game is more interesting than Diablo itself.
Anyway - what´s your problem? If you got bored after 5 years - it´s just time for it. You should be gratefull that Diablo finally relives you from his grasp! Look for something other to do (= acguire another habit :lol: )

i did stopped playing for a bit (about 1 1/2 years)was about to give my accounts to a friend who just started playing, then i decided to try out 1.10... then all hell broke loose, i had to re-make almost all my charaters, and my old account became a hi-level mule account. seems like its happening all over again... i'm on the forums more than i play. i guess i'll have to wait for 1.11 to keep things interesting
