Should I make a spirit or phoenix?

I found a 0 os Monarch today with 171 defense (15% ed also 15% dura)

So it is perfect in every way... but now I have a tough decision of what to do with it.

I want to make a light sorc possibly, and just can't decide which would be better.

Also, is spirit or phoenix more valuable?


And just random: what do people want coloured druid/barb unid rare helms for?

Spirit is maybe more useful and has better resale value if you're rolling for a 35FCR, but Phoenix is definitely more expensive.
As for the coloured helms and stuff, I can only assume it's for style points.

Ya I decided to go with Spirit! Have made it yet, need to get a character to act 5 lol.

Hopefully it will sell well.


Ya I guess people like to look silly on their druids.

Colors on the unid helms are also indicative of what mods the helm has.

In that case it's better not to make a runeword. It will not be worth more than the value of the item + the value of a pack of 11 rune sets with Hel (that's the average amount needed for 35%). It's probably even less, so you won't gain any advantage, except you are hoping for a lucky roll and get 35FCR early. Also, a clean 15% monarch leaves all choices open for the buyer, that will lead to more people making offers and thus a better price.
