Should I Fort?

    Should I Fort?

    i was wondering if i should fort a lacquered plate?

    anyone agree or disagree if so why or why not?

    The two best options are archon plate and dusk shroud.

    Fortitude is usually made into Dusk Shroud or Archon, for low str. req./no run penalty/good resale value. Otherwise it depends on the char you're going to play with it. Personally I think making it in Laq. Plate is a waste of runes :rolleyes:.

    But it's all a matter of roleplaying as well, so go ahead if you like it.

    I made one on eth sacred armor.
    It's very nice for a merc despite he being only able to use it at higher lv with some str add (act 2 mercs).
    I agree with Leo on this one.
    Find a better armor to make your Forti on :p

    yeah it was gonna go on a barb, but i dont know if i would be able to trade it off

    It also depends on what the defense of the armor is. If you've got, say, a 440 defense lacquered plate, it would be a terrible waste to put fortitude in it, because a lacquered plate can get up to 541 defense (even more if it's superior) and it's easy to find a light armor with better defense. In short, only use a heavier armor if it's also got good defense.
