I am curious of other peoples thoughts on this subject.

Should armor have requirements other than level?
Such as strength, intelligence, dexterity, ...
Should armors higher than cloth have a movement reduction?

If you look at PoE there are reqs for armor and depending on the type of armor you're looking at it may require either strength or dex or intelligence. I agree with this type of structure. I think the heavy armors should require strength. Maybe the cloth armors are for sorcs and should require intelligence, etc. Nothing wrong with that. As far as movement speed penalties, I disagree. That is just kind of a pain. In some games you can mitigate this with certain skills or levels so while it is a pain to deal with, at least you can mitigate it sooner or later.
