    Shockadin's Attack Rating

Without the use of Fanaticism Aura.... it seems that Shockadin's Attack Rating will be below 5,000 (which is very low IMHO). Ignore Target Defense weapon is probably a good choice... but it doesn't work against bosses, uniques, etc.

So, how do everyone deal with it ?

But we must activate Blessed Aim to get the bonus, which means... Holy Shock as the main aura can't be used.

Blessed Aim merc is a good idea. I'm thinking of changing my Rogue merc anyway.

I do have some weapons that give more attack rating, such as Heavens Light, Nord Tenderizer. But it seems still not enough. ^^;.

I thought Blessed Aim gave a 5% passive bonus (even without the aura active) for each physical point spent? It's nice, but it seems like quite a skill point sacrifice to really get anywhere with it.

i can tell you that having gotten a shockadin to lvl 89, i have no problem hitting bosses/champions. i use the crescent moon, which has ITD. i dont really have any specific gear to lower monster defense or anything. i really wouldnt worry about it, and wouldnt spend ANY points in BA.

    I'll take that into consideration.

I think I'll just level up my Shockadin (currently lvl 80) a bit and see if it helps (character level affects attack rating, right ?).

If you max zeal, with say +2 skills, you'll get +220% AR. In PvM, you'll likely just need a sharp charm or 2 to get the AR you'll need, along with the customary RavenFrost.

2 Sharps + 1 Raven probably nets you around 400AR, with +220% that's 1k AR on top of what you have, should solve most AR problems.

Anyway PvM aim to hit 8-9k AR, that will allow you to get 75%++ hit chance against almost all monsters assuming equal levels, should be sufficient for most purposes.

Use a Crescent Moon phase blade. Has ITD, - Light res, and other great mods for pvp and pvm.
