if u plan on using 2h weap i would use tomb, but for botd i prefer thunder maul or ghost spear.

ok the tm has a lil more dmg on the GPA...but the gpa also hits faster, and has longer range which leads to more hits/dmg over time...

Hey wanted to thank u all again for the advice. Think i got my gear all set. Couple final questions if u din mind =]

How much ar is enough to hit pretty much every time?
400ish from metalgrid
20% jalal
105 from duel leech ring
240ish raven
would i need more ar from charms to hit or is that plenty?

this ties into my second question

i have NEVER made a druid without oak sage. BUt i was thinkin... Now that im makin a melee (wolf) druid. Should i maybe consider the other spirit (heart of the wolverine). It would increase my dmg and AR (duno if i need the AR yet). BUt with all the ow and cb from ribby+dracs+gores and raw dmg from fort, would monsters die before i could even see the added dmg from the spirit. Ill have lota LL (string, drac and the duel leech ring) plus the life tap from dracs so my life should remain rather high (reason to not need as much life...?). But then again oak sage will double my life...

What you guys think?

and finally: how long do dire wolves live and r they good tanks/dmgin (in hell). I know a bear would make a better tank, but i can crowd control more with wolves *plus i like the multiple summons*. I was plannin on only puttin a couple points into feral rage (1 pnt, unless i need more?) and maxin a summon instead (after maxin ww, lycran, fury, spirit).

PvM 10k AR is generally enough to hit everything. And I wouldn't use HoW. And summons are only going to be decent with at least 20 points invested in them.

I use HoW and im absolutely happy with it. It gives my ar and damage, gives the party ar and damage and i have 3k life.

So fore pure PvM and Uber Trist as well (the spirit dies there*g*) how is a decent choice.

Metalgrid is NO GOOD CHOICE for pvm. Highlord is much better.

Metalgrid´s only use is uber Trist.

Imo Draculs is no good Choice but well if u need 200%ll take it...

Summons:1pt in Grizzly and 20in the Wolves let the grizzly live looooong.
ps:i got about 14-15k ar that rocks hell at Baal:)

But for Party purposes, some can make use of the AR and DMG of HoW. EVERYONE can make use of the Oak Sage's life bonus.

I got 2Druids, 1with oak and rabies and one full ww and how for pvm.

i prefer the pvm build in pvm (lol) because i dont need the life but the ar/dmg.
If there are no wind druids i got 1pt in oak;)

if u are realistic it doesnt matter if oak or how in baalrun the hammerdin will own no matter what:D

I figured metal grid would help me hit the AR i needed. I agree highlords is nice (+1 skill, deadly strike) but i wont benefit from the off weapon ias. If im correct only my weapon will provide me ias as a werewolf.

as far as dracs, i have been back and forth on the tap vs leech. My alternative to dracs would be LoH. Again i cant use the ias. Nice fire res and the demon bonus. But with all the cb, ow and straight dmg along with decrip from merc -- the demons should fall nicely i believe (this is why i duno if HoW dmg would even be seen).

Obviously ill need parties when im lvlin (baal runs). But i want my spirit to benefit me and then those who can benefit from the spirit, will share in on it =]

Also, Verashiden: are you sayin if i put 20 into dire wolves they would still die rather quick (bit longer if i used oak = / )

if u put 20in wolves ur Bear gets a huge amount of ife and wont die;)

33%ds=33%more phys damage and 1skill as well as lightnign resist.
nice combination with loh so u got the most important resists high.

better choice for gloves are 10cb gloves with nice resist/stats ;)

Well, if you put 20 into Dire, they'll be able to tank pretty well. Like I said, you need at least 20 points to make summons effective at SOMETHING.

but the reason im not thinkin of craftin is ill already have 75 cb from gores + ribby. which is plenty.

ya bear would tank amazin.. i just like the idea of havin as many summons out as possible not so much for saftey but the coolness factor = / Even though i get 5 with SW i think dire wolves may be better.. but if they not gona do dmg then maybe SW may live long enough.

i want to say THANK YOU!!!

i have posted a couple times on this site when i got questions, im not a regular here. And usually i get a couple responces and the thread dies. This is page 6 if not 7 of my druid help request and i have gotten TONS of valid info and im confident now in the way im goin to build my fury druid.
