Secret cow level portal

I'm playing D2 LOD version 1.11b.

Everytime i opened the cow portal, killed some cows, S&E and the portal is gone.

For pindleskin portal, i knew that as long as one doesnt activate the way point at the temple, the portal will be always around.

But is there a way where i can keep the cow portal after i S&E.

I'm pretty sure there isn't. You have to cast it every game.

I'm absolutely sure, you need to keep getting Wirt's Leg, cow runs would be much more efficient w/out needing to visit Tistram

EDIT: the leg returns after you open the portal and S+E (perhaps immediately after you cast the portal, never tried)

Do you mean the wirt's leg is always there at tristram everytime i click on wirt?

I always thought wirt's leg only dropped once per difficulty level.

wirt always drops a leg. No matter how many times you run him, he drops a leg.

I can now run hell cow again with my blizzardsocr and LF javazon.

Just remember, if you kill the king you won't be able to open again.
