Scammer alert (free for trust)

Hey guys just letting people know... mostly gullable people

there is this guy going around making games called free for trust or gg for trust.

basically he builds your trust by you giving him an item then he gives u one back with your item then he keeps telling you to give him stuff then when you stop he says... you broke your trust and leaves the game and you lose everything.

his sorceress's name is deleted

he scammed my friend and many other people and im spreading the word

As much as I'm sorry to hear about the loss due to the scam, we do not maintain a blacklist of people who have done something wrong on battle.net. The main reason for this is simply because we cannot validate each and every post that comes through, and soon enough people might just start putting out names of people who haven't even done them wrong. Note that I'm not saying that this is the case with you, but rather something in general.

Sometimes the best way to warn others is to simply inform them of the types of scams that are out there. In this scenario, I think it's good advice to anyone that they should simply not do any "Free for trust" games at all.

There are whole pages of diablo scams and tricks on several sites (including this one) - google them. Way back in my noob days (and many ladders ago) I fell for the old /DnD scam. Educate yourself on these scams and don't fall for them.

There is one rule of battlenet.

1. Assume every person on bnet is a sociopathic kleptomaniac who would sell your internal organs if he could get away with it, and you can figure out exactly how much you should trust anyone you meet there.
