Sanguinary Grand Charm of Maiming

I found one of those, and it´s quite different from the usual Sharp Grand Charms. It says "Adds 2-4 damage".

Does this damage adds like Grief adds? Is there a better version of this charm, with better damage? It isn´t listed in the charms values guide, so I take it isn´t worth anything?

It's just a feature, when ever a item adds both min and max damage - like charms and jewels. It doesn't say add X min and Y max. It simply says, add X-Y damage. The maximum would be 3-4 according to the summit.

So sadly, it doesn't work like grief. That being said, I wouldn't waste 3 inventory spaces for just 3 average damage, there are much better charms to find, like the charm value guides indicates.

All kinds of min/max bonuses get added to the weapon damage before applying off-weapon %ed, so with 1000% off-weapon, your charm will add 22-44 damage. However, a plain +10 maxdmg GC will add 0-110 damage which is a bit more on average.

I'm not 100% sure, but AFAIK +min/max bonuses from charms are also applied when using smite, like the bonus from Grief.
