    Sandwiches!

What's your favourite combination of food stuffs to slap together between two pieces of baked wheat?

Mine is and always has been peanut butter and banana.

The peanut butter can't be too thick or thin, and the banana can't be too ripe - sometimes even leaving it overnight in the fridge in a seal container works.

Scrumptious! :jig: (In a crazy mood today - I'm working caffiene out of my system since I quit coffee.)

I don't think it's that great. Nothing beats the ole white bread + cheese + lettuce + <insert meat> sandwich for me.

I had tomato and mayo on toast for lunch today. It was yummy. I'm not much of a "favorite" type of person, there's so much to like, why limit myself? I do like BLT's, PBJ when the bread is really soft w/ creamy PB and double the amount of J. We have big, hot sandwiches here called grinders, they rock!

When discussing sammiches I start day-dreaming about patty melts. Of course this is better served with rye or sourdough bread, but still good stuff.

    - just peanutbutter

    - cream cheese and smoked salmon

    - tuna salad

    - coleslaw salad (preferably that excellent homemade one my mate makes!) with ham and a tomato

    - baked apples with cinnamon

    - fried mushrooms with onion rings

That's a pretty traditional combination. Delicious too.

Sjeesh thanks mate, but I already knew that.

As someone suggested, it's a traditional combination but very tasty if people would stop putting a vast amount of lettuce on sandwiches.

    Re: Provolone cheese

Ah, but are you talking about the washed out stuff, or the good stuff?
