Sandstorm vs Waterwalks

Sandstorm vs Waterwalks

I know that Sandstorm Treks seem to be the ideal boots for any Shaper, but I for the most part usually always go waterwalks. It just seems to me, that since I almost always go Jalal 'shael' & dungos, that easily hits the 60% breakpoint... and if I go bloodfists, that's 90% there... so I'd rather get the extra life, dexterity for chance to block, and fire resist from my +62 life waterwalks. Maybe its just me... but the +15 dexterity and greater life just seems to outway the extra fhr which as shown is pretty easily achieved...

Gores and res boots are all I use. I try to avoid depending on some gear choices like boots and belts that add stats. Seems like the damage Gores gives and the resists from rare boots or Aldurs and Natalyas outweighs the stat points you save from stuff like Treks or Waterwalks.

Maybe look at it like this; sandstorms 20fhr gives you the freedom to remove that shael (at the cost of hel) from your Jalal's and socket it according to other needs you have.

--Damage is always something needed
--dexterity/life for any REAL pvp druid is always a must--max block is a must
--resistance isn't a must, its situational 90% of time, so nats are out.

Seems like Gores & Waterwalks are the only ones that make sense to me, and since I'm a mauler I dont really benefit from gores like a fury druid would, so that's my excuse.

As for the Waterwalks+shael Jalals vs Treks+socketed Jalal:
+5%max fire & +65 life == 30-45life +<insert gem/rune>

--if you socket Jalal with a pRuby, you'd have more life but lose the +5%fire
or if you do the opposite and throw in a +5%max rune you lose to life, so its sorta even actually, in my book...cause I have max dr and resists and I don't know what else you'd add in that case

I think that gore rider is best ... with 15% DS, 15% CB and 10% OW (Deadly Strike, Crushing Blow, Open Woulds)
