Sanctuary bug?

I've been thinking about getting a lawbringer runeword, especially because it rocks against the undead. However, many sites mention a bug with sanctuary, that the +ED% vs undead is applied to monsters only and not the character with the aura. Some of these posts are old, so I was hoping that perhaps it had been fixed. Anybody know?

as far as i know it has not been fixed.
the most recent patch fixed no gameplay/skill bugs at all.

some uses of the lawbringer are the decrep fefature, using the aura to keep from being swarmed by dolls, and the elemental damage on it can be somewhat handy.
