    Runnng out of HD space....

I have Diablo II on my comp and I want to install the expansion. I have 1 gig of harddrive space left. On theinstaller, I says the installation is 1100 megs. Is that the total for the installation? or is it the total HD space taken up by DiabloII after installation?
    Thanks in advance

    Para

After installation it will take up that much room.

Well, I tried installing it, but my D2 play disk is scratched up, so It wont recognize it.
Is there any way to manually install the epxansion?

If you don't have around 10% or so of your HD free you sometimes get some rather nasty bugs and an unstable system. The HDs are better now than they used to be so not all get these effects but buying a secound hard drive is a good investment compared to having your HD crash & burn.
If you install both the HDs you can then just transfer your old files to the new volume.

Probably time for a new hard drive anyways. I had the same problem. (I only had a 2 GB one, hah.

Get a 160GB. You'll never run out of room.
