Running D2 without the CD?

Running D2 without the CD?

Okay so I bought the battle chest a while ago, but I was just curious of there's some sort of crack you can d/l so that the cd doesnt have to be in the drive. I know that this constitutes 3rd party software, but I was curious to see if Blizzard provides anything like this that I can use?

You dont need 'cracks' with the latest 1.12 patch.
All you have to do is copy the D2xmusic.mpq from the expansion CD into your diablo 2 directory.
