Runeword spirit with paladin shield

if im making a spirit with a aerin shield that have 4 slot and +25 resist all, will it have the spirit bonus and the 25 resist or it disapear?

The spirit resists bonus and the resist automod on the shield both apply.

now consider that a pally can wear dual spirit's at level 25. aren't you glad Spirit cannot be made in Scepters.......

Actually a 25 resist shield isn't worth putting spirit in, the max +resists a shield can have is +45 so 25 is low.

i wouldn't re-roll spirit in a 25 res-all shield, but early in a ladder season, yeah, i'd make a spirit in a 25 res-all shield. spirit runes aren't exactly hard to come by. run NM countess for a little while and you'll get the runes.

Hm, I made a spirit in a Paladin shield and it did not work. My insight works but that runeword did not. That's pretty weird.

You have to put them in the right order. And be sure the shield isn't magical/rare/unique

So im not sure how this works, i know what a unique is, golden text, the yellow text is rare i guess and magical what is that? is that when the shield or item is blue and you have to identify it ?

magical is blue text and some magical items can have sockets on them.

if you made spirit in a paladin shield and it didn't work the most probable reasons why are:

1. you put the runes in the wrong order
2. you used the wrong runes
3. you used a magical item (blue text, needs to be identified) with sockets in it instead of a non-magical item (white text)
