RPGforums browsing problems

I obssessively browse the SPF at work, at school, and at home. Something that happens a lot is that browsing will be fine for the first, i dunno, 15 to 30 minutes. But loading pages will start to take longer and longer, and then inevitably while trying to load a page i'll get the white page that says this:
"There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.
Please try again by pressing the refresh button in your browser.

An E-Mail has been dispatched to our Technical Staff, who you can also contact if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience."

At which point i'll have to close my browser and start over again. Anyone else have this problem?

What browser do you guys use? I alternate between Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox. THe same problem occurs on both.

I run Internet Explorer 6 at both work and home. I run into this once in awhile. But not to often anymore. Like Pucho pointed out, it used to be much worse.

I forget the technical aspects of it, but it has nothing to do with your browser- when they switched servers over, it happened often, and sometimes for long (hours) periods. Something to do with a server load-balance or something like that (obviously, i am not a network engineer or programmer). Anywho, the fault is server side for rpg, not at the browser side.
