rings/amulet for summoner?

my summoner is using full trang-ouls and leoric. And now i wonder wich rings,boots and amulet i should use? Im not going for mf so nagelrings is out of the question.

Im playing at the europe realm sc.

The "best" amulet for a TO summoner is a magic +3 summoning amulet --- 2nd mod doesn't matter.

For rings, if you don't have SOJ or BKs (for the +1 skill), it doesn't matter either. I use MF rings; one of them also has +95 mana on it.

If you're short on resists (you shouldn't be... socket your shield with a pdiamond and you only need a few resist charms), you can obviously use the ring slots as well. There isn't really anything you absolutely need there, so... total freedom.

+3 summon amu, marrows(+2) and sojs (bk) if youre rich.
Max lightning res is very useful since those gloams will penetrate your barrier of summoned creatures, so rings with lit res is good if u need that.
Fcr rings are useless (unless they have other good stats), dwarfstar would be ok, rare with +life, +mana, +str too.
I use soj and 30 nagel.

I use a +3 to summoning ammy myself, something with second mods is always nice ofcourse. I don't know about the rings, I guess it kinda depends on how your resistances are, if you tend to run out of mana and things like that. Otherwise, you can never go wrong with more life, and rings will +skills will never hurt either! And even if you don't go for a pure MF necro, that extra 50% will never hurt you.

Best boots for your setup would be Marrowwalks, preferrably with +2 to Mastery.

I had a chromatic ammy with teleport charges for my trangmancer on old ladder. Really useful for re-grouping your troups when they start to get a bit scattered :D

Marrowwalk seems to be most people's choice for boots. Or if you happen across some War Travs, get some extra MF but still have a good set of boots. Sandstorm gives some FHR, but you don't usually need that with a Summoner.

For the ammy, I agree that a +3 summon is the way to go especially if you find one with tele charges.

For rings, since you're so open you have a wide range. If you are rich enough for SOJ or BK for extra +skills, go for it. Another expensive option that is really nice for Baal runs are 2 Wisp Protectors for Lightning absorb. Or if you can't afford that you can try a Dwarf Star + Ravenfrost for fire and cold absorb. I don't bother with getting high stats on Raven, all I'm interested in is the absorb. These two really help for things like meteors cast on you or when uniques with Cold Enhanced die and shoot that ring of cold out. By having some absorb the damage you take is minimal (you may or may not need that but it's always nice to be extra safe).
