Returning to D2, need good rusher/MF char/build

I been out of D2 for years, 4+ years maybe.

Im comming back to Bnet, Ladderwest, and I am lost with with everything.

Im trying to start my first char thats going to be great at MFing and rushing. Ive read fishy, hammerdin (of course), metrorb are probably the better PvM classes but which would be great at what im looking for? Gear or non gear dependent, I am patient and can get the gear eventually.

Im not a fan of hammerdins when in closequarters, huge pain I remembered... So can anyone help me out here?

yeah Im coming back to diablo 2 too. after out of d2 for approx. 2 years.

Lol Im going ladder west too! Anyway to answer your questions.....yeah, any of those you mentioned are fine :thumbup: but I wouldn't use hammerdin lol Its a pain for me using a hammerdin unless I've got enigma with me = \

So fishy/Light javazon/trapper/Meteorb/Blizzballer are all ok

What would be the better boss killer? I remember I had a light/poison amazon and while LF would kill packs, she wasnt the best boss killer.

I really want something I can just mow down the acts as well as bosses with MF gear on as well. My old fishy was a bit slow and boring but it was easy.

Yeah, I know this question comes up alot im guessing but with how old alot of the info is on the boards and how much the game has changed, its so confusing now adays lol.

My vote goes to Metaorb. Hdin isn't really a good boss runner till you got Enigma. The same goes to Fishymance and Furyzon. I'm plan to run mf with my Metaorb till I got a Enigma, then switch to Hdin to do uber trist.

blizzballer or meteorb are very good boss killers with little to no requirements in gear

anyone else requires at least two or three types of gear

freezealot or tesladin, for example, require at least a crushflange to be effective boss killers...

but they're not such a pain to use, unlike the hammerdin!
