S Smackin Diabloii.Net Member Jul 26, 2008 #2 Re: resists and ES Yes, ES takes damage before res, meaning auras like conviction and curses like lower res will not affect the damage taken by ES, therefore u lose the same amount of mana. Only the damage after ES is affected by res.
