What about in that corridor where the dog jumps through the window and the music starts playing?

Re: Resident Evil

Im looking forward to it, but i dont think i will get it. If anything ill rent it or borrow it from someone.

I played Resident Evil 4 on Gamecube, and it was really fun. Then i played Resident Evil 4 on Wii, and i cant imagine ever going back to a regular controller to play Resident Evil again. Hopefully somewhere down the road, Resident Evil 5 will be ported to the Wii. The controls were so perfect for the Wii version of Resident Evil 4.

But they are making a Dead Rising game for the Wii, using the same controls as Resident Evil 4. I cant wait for that.

Re: Resident Evil

Condemned on the 360 has a pretty good creepy atmosphere, and some rather scary moments.
Yeah Condemned was amazing. Really creepy atmosphere, and the first part of the game (before the supernatural monsters or whatever) was really intense, when you would fight the drug addicts. Just hearing them scream in the room next to you and you see one shuffle by, all that really got your adrenaline flowing.

I loved the first Condemned.

Too bad Condemned 2 was god awful.

That was pretty good.

But not as good as those windows with zombies tapping on the glass that doesn't break... until it does. Was that in both or only the remake? Can't remember.

Re: Resident Evil

The hands that reach through the windows and grab you in resident evil 2 where pretty good too but that game as a whole wasn't scary. Although being chased by nemesis could be scary at times.

Nemesis was even scarier in resident evil 3 because he had an instant kill attack.

Well, I generally didn't like those jumpy enemies (Hunters, Lickers,...). The animation of Licker backing away to jump and decapitate you if you don't move away or kill it quickly (when you were low on health) was pretty hard on my nerves.

Dogs were more annoying (as in they cannot kill you, but can hurt you and force you to use healing supplies) than dangerous (as in kill you). That cage near the canal entrance in RE2 was kinda cool (as were dogs near the pool in RE).

Re: Resident Evil

No love for RE4 here?

I loved that game. Not scary anymore, but far more fun than the other games.

The Resident Evil remake for Gamecube was great too.

Who remembers Resident Evil 0? That game was awful lol.

Re: Resident Evil

Does anyone ever wonder what happened to the human actors of resident evil 1? They did a pretty good job portraying all of the characters in a likable way. I'm surprised they where never used again.

Una Kavanagh seems to be keeping herself busy. Still as hot as ever.

Yeah, not as scary as the first one, fun though. Another good bit was in the gun shop at the start.

I missed the FMV too. I love cheesy FMV.

Looks awesome. I have to get a Mega CD...

So far my FMV holy grail has been A Fork in the Tale.

Re: Resident Evil

I'm going to give credit to the nod side of C&C. The GDI sides FMV where like watching CBS.

In tiberium sun you atleast have James Earl Jones and Michael Biehn.

Re: Resident Evil

I don't know about that. I liked the idea that you could pave your bases and build gates that opened and closed to let units in or out.

The super weapons where a bit meh. Replacing the nuke with a half arsed cluster missile. I liked the blue tiberium that was so volatile that a whole field could go up in smoke together with all units nearby if you fired into it.

Or those pits that set out vines that ate metal units. You gathered the vines to make that chemical missile.

GDI got screwed royaly when it came to commando units. I did a test and the nod cyborg commando could defeat the mammoth tank MK2 solo and then take on and kill the gdi ghost stalker without even been given time to recover health in between.

I really hated the last level of each side though because they all had time limits. The one and only mission where you get access to all the sides units in the game and you're on a time limit? come on.
