Repairing and socketing low quality items
Probably been answered before, but the forums are really slow so I didn't search too far back...
I'm looking to find out how the number of sockets for Larzuk quest is calculated when you socket a repaired low quality item. Is it based on the item type or is it a set formula?
Example, find a low quality Archon Plate, use cube recipe to repair it, take it to Larzuk, he gives 3 sockets (I tried this one). So is it (max sockets - 1) or not quite so simple?
My speicific question is on a low quality Matriarchal Bow (ilvl 85). If I repair it to normal quality then take to Larzuk, how many sockets will it get?
That was a long winded way to ask that question...
