Regret nominating Sen. Kerry?

Sure, everybody has faults, but that kinda downplays the magnitude of this particular "fault" I think. I mean, you know, I like to jaywalk, Clinton likes BJs a little too much, those are faults. Bush's "fault" isn't exactly in the same ballpark I don't think.

I truly regret the republican party's decision to nominate George W. Bush instead of John McCain in 2000.

Or Alan Keyes for that matter.

My choices were the exact opposite of how it finished...
Keyes, then McCain, then Bush.

Somoene mentioned attack ads earlier. Here's what I'd do if I were either Bush or Kerry. All of Kerry's ads talk about Bush, all of Bush's ads talk about Kerry. If I were either one, I'd stop my attack ads. I'd make all the ads about myself. Why? Then I'd have my ads only talking about me, and my opponent's ads only talking about me. Who is going to vote for a guy who never gets mentioned in the commercials? It's that whole "there's no such thing as bad press" idea.
