regarding static field and conviction

Hi all,
I had a question regarding static field and conviction. Say I were running level 26 conviction (-150 to monster resists) and I was zealing with crescent moon. If static field triggers, does it take off ~80% of a monster's life if the monster normally has zero lightning resist? Or does it just stay at 33%?

Static Field is unaffected by conviction (and lower resist). Furthermore, it does 25%, not 33%. I believe it did 33% back in classic, but those days are long gone...

Static field is only effected by positive enemy lightning resists, ie, 50% Enemy lightning resist will halve the damage done by static field, but anything below 0% for enemy lightning resist will not increase the damage it does.
