Realm Stability

I was just wondering if there is a difference in realm stability between useast and west. I played East for several years quite a while ago, and i dont remember it being a HUGE issue (though it wasnt incredibly stable) but recently i was dabbling on west and very frequently there would be huge server side lag spikes, very frequently

Does this happen on both servers?

I would agree that east is better. But I don't really know which one is more stable

USEast has this server-side lag problem as well. Anywhere from 5-10 seconds of lag and subsequent catchup. Extremely annoying. Though I don't think I'd say it occurs "very frequently" like you say for USWest.

It's been happening fairly frequently lately, moreso than a few weeks ago. It was really bad when there was a public dupe method out... not sure if it has to do with the duping or the anti-dupe "Warden" or whatever Blizzard has employed. Either way I'm not too confident about the stability after this reset unless they patch something... anything.

From what I've heard, all the servers on USWest have rats nesting in them, and the Cheeze Whiz factory one floor above often leaks cheese onto the network cables of USWest servers. Rats chewing through said cables frequently causes dropped connections. Playing on them is a huge mistake. USEast is a much better place, with far fewer rats, and while there is not less Cheeze Whiz, it's more strategically placed.
