i got booted too. prolly routine maintenance but it was an odd 2 minute warning stead of the regular 5. dclone was comin and i'd cleared most of acts 1,4, and 5 waiting but oh well.

also as a nonsequitur, people should hold cockfights with their mercs. think of the children...

i got it on west ladder, but it just booted me and after 5 mins i could make a new game, dont think its a big deal ... that is ... if your talkin about west servers ... please specify which servers

I never got these messages if I don't switch characters too fast... (unfortunately I'm not that well organized and my memory is leaving me :D)

But I did notice that the server down/warning from diablo is much more frequent lately.

I guess the East likes me, because I got a 10 minute warning while killing Mephy. Then, oddly, while in chat, I got the LOST CONNECTION box, yet I could still see the other people chatting.

Strange.

Same here, only with a 5 minute warning. Went to chat. Lost connection but others were still chatting. Hit "ok" .. then realm down.

I just finished a run with a few min. left so I tried to make another room quick and it told me i was 4168 in line only got down to 3000 before getting the boot

West seems to be up now but East is not.

Just found this from Blizzard:
"Services for Battle.net and Azeroth in USEast will be unavailable starting at 3:00am EDT, 4/29/04. Maintenance is scheduled to last approximately 4 hours. "
