Okay, I might sound *really* silly asking this, but I can't find an explicit answer in any FAQ or guide.

Is it at all possible to spam meteors with PS using a C/C assassin? It appears that using the charge-up attack will hit with each claw and always give you at least two charges, so you'd be stuck with the lightning and the ice shards only. But I haven't seen this explicitly spelled out anywhere.

I just got back into the game after a year away, and I've been holding points in reserve on a new character until I figure this out. I wanted to try a C/C assassin and I really think I need PS for the crowd control of the ice shards, but I don't want to waste any points in fists of fire if I'm never gonna be able to use the PS meteors. Is there some other tactic I could take to use both PS and Dragon Claw?

Only the three "claw" charge-ups--FoF, CoT, BoI--use both weapons, and thus they are the only ones capable of two charges per attack. The three "strike" charge-ups only use the primary weapon. So yes, you can definitely spam meteors to your heart's content (or hand's twitch).

Ah, now I see. I'd never used dual claws before, and saw them charging twice with FoF and thought that would continue to happen. That clears it up nicely, thanks for the answer
