Re-rolling maps

Long time lurker and long time D2 player, mostly Bnet tho. Dabbling more in SP lately. I see lotsa folks talkin' 'bout re-rolling maps. Newb question......how's that done? :idea:

You can do it by entering into a different difficulty, or a multi-player game. You can just create a TCP/IP game locally and leave to do that.

As you most likely no, SP has static maps. If you are running a specific area like the pits, LK or what have you not repeatedly, it will be extremely beneficial to roll a good map. Rerolling your map is done by either entering an online game (tcp/ip) or choosing another difficulty.

On that note, if you roll a good map and accidentally click a wrong difficulty, ctrl-alt-delete and kill your D2 process. That will preserve your map seed. Just start up D2 again and you should be good.
