Rate my pvm werebear plz, its the first one

Im planning to take my pvm werebar to around lvl 93. He will then be using the following equipment:

Stormspire(shealed) with baranas star plus tiamats rebuke on the switch.
Duriels shell(um'ed)
Jalals mane (shealed)
String of ears/Nosferatu/arachnid any suggestions on this one?
Gore riders
Crescenmt moon/highlords.
Ravens
BK ring

Please if there are any improvements in my equipment let me know plz. Will I still have fast enough attack with this setup? What about resistance?

Ive been planning to use the following skills:

Werebear Maxed(eventually)
Maul Maxed
shockwave maxed
Lycranthophy Maxed (eventually)

I am unsure about HoW or Oak sage. Both seem very effective. Seeing my gear(with the possible improvements added) will I be needing more life or will I require the additional dmg? Im planning to pump streght to wear mygear same with dex, then all others go in vitality. Does that seem smart? I will I be needing more AR to land hits?

Hi!

Your werebear looks pretty good, here are a few suggestions though...
- If you aren't wearing any specifically good gloves bloodfists are usually a good choise, you can even consider upgrading them. Lavagouts might be good if you are lacking attack rating.
- Angelic amulet+ring(s) are a good combination to gain higher attack rating and good life bonus too.
- I'd always liked string with its mdr and leach but verdungos has a bit hit recovery and some +vitality in comparison. Trang oul's girth gives cannot be frozen and a good life boost though. You probably know best what you need most.
- There's no sence in pumping dexterity only to increase attack rating, its better to compensate with gear and charms.

ah thanks alot already. However I still need to know if my attack speed would be fast enough with that equipment, and what merc to use. Please werebear pro's I could use some advice here plz.

With 10 OIAS you will reach 7 frame maul with your shaeled stormspire which is pretty fast. If you want even faster weapon tomb reaver with two shaels is excellent with 6 frame maul.

Since you already have max shockwave you probably won't need the chill from holyfreeze that much so you can go either with defiance merc if you are content with walking amongst monsters to maintain defence or if you want more damage might is good. I'd go with might myself.

Thanks again for your help feedback, I still got some questions left though, sorry to bother you this much.

Would a tomb reaver wityh 2 sheals be better than a stormspire with 1 sheal dmg and speedwise? Also are the angelics better than the jewels I mentioned?

And last but not least, I still onl;y have one skillpoint in Oak sage, but I cant decide which to pick. I was thinking if I if go with tomb reaverI dont need all those points in dex anymore( at least like 60 less I think?) pumping up my streght and vitality and use HoW for the extra dmg since I can pump my life with the points not spent in dex now....

or I could go for stormspire pump dex until I have enough for stomrspire with plus streghht items. Same with streght and then go for Oak sage for all those points spent in dex.

What do you think would be best? Cmon any people who played this kind of werebears I need to know your experience plz. Thanks in advance.

Well yes 2 shael tomb reaver would be faster and it would do more average physical damage. It doesn't have any elemental damage though so you will have to get something on switch if you wish to dispose of physical immunes.

With that high shockwave and maul the only things you have to worry about hitting you are the champions, uniques and bosses. With a heavy investment in HoW(or a good prebuff) you could scrape enough attack rating without angelic jewellery to hit the monsters well. If you intend to use angelics then you can go either way really. I personally would go with HoW and dual ravenfrosts so I would save many hard points of dexterity.
