Oh, well spirit seems to be a better choice :crazyeyes:. But I'm still worried of losing points in vitality since I will have to respec for max block with spirit. Which shield for spirit do you suggest in this case?

A sacred targe or sacred rondache with as much allres as possible. Other elite paladin shields aren't that bad as well, but they have higher str reqs and less base blocking. A royal shield is OK as well.

Allright, so I got this royal shield with 70 in all res except fire(35). It's only 30 FCR but it's the best I could come up with. I have 57% chance of blocking with it with 133 dex and holy shield. Do you suggest I should respec or is that enough? Also, since I'm still using 2 dwarf stars with 15% fire absorb each, is it really necessary for me to try and max the fire resist... Oh nevermind that xD Just remembered that I haven't done a single anya quest yet.

I really do suggest rerolling the spirit until you get the 35 FCR.

Your shield isn't that rare and is seems to have 35% allres on its own which isn't overly rare as well, so if you reach a total of 125% FCR with just 30% from the shield, you can stop at that point. Better use the saved Spirit runesets on other shields or sell them for something useful.
