Rare clips

Occasionally I'll browse through youtube and find a Diablo 3 video I haven't seen before. Just now I've found two.

The first one is a nice action clip from Blizzcon. A barbarian fighting a horde of skeletons is trapped in a corner! As the undead press around him, for everyone one he kills another is made by the skeletal summoners.

Next is a close up from a powerpoint Blizzard made. It's an abstract image to demonstrate how they use their dungeon randomizing feature.

Lastly, it seems that Gamespot.com went to Blizzcon and they have an interview with Rob Pardo and Jay Wilson. But don't just watch those. There are some detailed articles as well describing the Demo.

I still have the link for a preview of WD's firebat skill and Wizard's Blizzard spell. Those who wants to see feel free to give me a PM.

But it's a long video, and the skills are only shown near the end of the video.

I've been following this forum ever since the announcement of D3 but this is my first time posting. Im a huge fan of the Diablo franchise and have played every game in the series going back to D1. Im a big lore nerd so i have read all the books as well. I just cant get enough Diablo :thumbup:
Anyway i stumbled across this video the other night and decided to post it since it has a rare look at the WD firebats skill.

WARNING: do not go to the website posted at the bottom of the video. It's a scam there is currently no beta for Diablo3.

The WD uses the skill at around 2:16 and 2:31.
This is the first time ive ever seen this skill in action and i think it looks freakig awesome.

Generally it works like inferno, but with a bigger range and plenty of eye candy... Blizzard is nice too.
Firebat's screenie can be found in wiki, but since I'm free now...

Pretty interesting in that video Jay says that loot drops separately for each player, so anything you see on the ground is for you only.

Does that mean that those super hard to find uniques/sets etc. will be many times more common? Or will drop chances be divided by "X" per player in game to keep things balanced?

Yeah, the loot system has probaly changed over a dozen times internaly.
So who knows what kind of mechanic blizz has brainstormed at this point.
However it'll work i just hop it's not a raging click fest for multiplayed when it's finished lol.

Anyone else find it strange the female voice over says that stat points and SKILL points are auto assigned? :rolf:

I also noticed that. I think that was Morgan Webb, some idiot probably gave her a script and since she has no knowledge of games, she didn't think twice.

And to my other comment, I know nobody has an answer I was just brainstorming I guess. :ponder:
