    Ranged attacks and masteries

    Hi,

i read some posts about ranged attacks and masteries. And there seems to be no conclusive opinion if elemental damage from charms/weapons gets boosted by their mastery if you use a ranged attack. Some people say it works others don't. Has anyone tested this?

Also if i'd have for example lightning damage from charms and would use explosive arrows. Would that lightning damage be added to the splash or not?

If you use a skill that provides an elemental dmg bonus to your ranged, then that dmg will be enhanced once. If it is an item that provides the elemental dmg bonus, then it will not be enhanced, even though the LCS displays it doing so.

Only dmg of the appropriate type (for example fire for Explosive Arrow, and cold for Freezing Arrow), is added to the explosion. But it's also true that if you have fire dmg from gear, that dmg is added both to the arrow and to the explosion, basically doubling the added dmg dealt to the target hit with the arrow.
