Listening to this song, 'My Immortal' by Evanesence (sp?). Brings back so many memories into my head, actually...
It never happened, but me and a girl I've never seen before in my life, standing in a parking lot, it's snowing, she's crying and I wipe away her tears with my hands as they roll down her cheek. Shes wearing a beanie, and a white/light blue coat. She has blonde hair that curls out from underneath the beanie. She rests her head on my shoulder, just crying.
I don't know why that popped into my head, but it did. But that strangely enough made me remember the time, a Mom with her 2 kids came into my work and were coming to pick up some pizza they had orderd. The total came to like $24 or something, all the lady has was about $18, and then shes like "Come on kids, were gonna have to eat somewhere else". At that moment, the look on her kids face, I'll never forget it, it was filled with sorrow and sadness. I then told the lady that I'd take care of it, and for her to give me the 18 dollars and I'd cover the rest.
She said thank you, it sounded as if it came from the depths of her heart. Her kid smiled, not at me, but he just smiled. Listening to this song, made me think of another time I commited 'random kindness'.
