    I was amused when first told that the H/D resource bulb was half blue/red. I remain amused to see a picture of it.

    Because, when I wrote a speculative article about the resource, shortly after it was first described in some interviews back in February, I grabbed a screenshot of the resource bulb in Torchlight just as the quickest, laziest, roughest, not-meant-to-represent-what-would-surely-be-an-awesome-final-game-design placeholder image of the resource.

    Seriously, 19 evolutions of the Fury bulb/traffic light/etc, and this is the best they can come up with for the DH? Something virtually cut and pasted out of TL1?

    Right click a stack of 5 pages to form a Tome of Training. Shift+Left click to split stacks.

    Popup appears to the right of the 1-5 skill bar, above the menu options and you click skills.

    Not sure what the shield represents here. Physical defense value, perhaps. But that still doesn't seem right. The other examples are the '9' defense rating with 25% reduced and no block.

    The elemental types seem to be...
    Frost
    Fire
    Electric
    Poison
    Shadow

    And I wonder how it decides which 'attack' to use for the DPS part...

    I fixed the thread title. I figured we all knew about them by now, but it never hurts to be precise.

    I didn't post any of these on the battle.net forums this time; they were all found by other people. I just brought them here because they're really cool.

    That's exactly what I said on bnet before my thread got deleted.

    If anything...why red/blue? It looks just like health/mana. Kind of confusing, expecially with a health globe on the other side of the screen.

    It also looks a bit like superman.

    You said nothing of the life leech?! I promised them pants-crapping.

    Physical armor. Arcane damage, not Shadow.

    Basic Attack refers to the basic swing you perform with your weapon.

    We've known about life leach forever now. I guess the pants crapping part is that Blizzard considers it a core enough mechanic to put on the character sheet.

    Arcane? But isn't the Demon Hunter supposed to be 'shadow'ish?

    And if it's physical armor, how is that even represented? What does it turn into? More defense points? It should be represented in the defense portion of the character sheet if that's what it is, right? Just saying that in a pieced form like this, it's a little bit confusing.

    Also duh @ basic attack, I'm not the LCD around here. I meant can you get that pane to show DPS for your other skills and if so, how?

    Demon Hunter is "shadowish," but Shadow is not one of the 6 main damage type (Fire, Lightning, Cold, Poison, Arcane, Physical) . Just like some Monk's skills do "holy" damage but there is no Holy resist.

    Physical Armor is basically a physical resistance. Resistances are no longer flat %. There are two basic possibilities here:
    1. Flat reduction at some ratio per point.
    2. Some equation that forces you to put more points to reduce same amount of damage.

    Defense is literally a total damage resistance value.

    (this stuff isn't 100% confirmed, but what I pieced together from observations/thinking).

    Found the Arcane Power pool and regeneration rate from that Chinese site.

    For those who are lazy it is 12.5 per second, taking 8 seconds to reach max from 0.

    Edit : huh the img was working just fine a second ago. Looks like they tare taking down their pics.

    I couldn't find them and it looks like they are taking down their pics as the one I just posted is now a 404 error.

    Either they posted them and I couldn't find them in time. Or they haven't got pictures of them/didn't post them before being told to stop.

    Looks like someone saved the pics(or at least most of them). Sadly no Spirit, Mana, or Fury info.

    Can I play as the Hourglass?!

    DAMN that thing is big compared to the character! It needs to be a bit smaller imo.

    Rest of the stuff looks great though.

    Well, they certainly have a beautiful UI to hide all the ugly news we've been hearing. It seems there's damage reduction now, instead of evade/negation? That's one change I think is great. Always seemed odd that armor and shields never lowered damage any, but just gave a chance of not being hit at all...

    There's still negation, but it isn't tied to the defense stat. Still dodge/block in the game, probably item modifiers.

    And I think the UI is absolutely gorgeous besides the inventory pane.

    Didn't they change block so that it causes the damage to be reduce even more, but not negate?

    Yes, I misspoke, good call. Dodge is still in though.
    I'm not quite sure exactly how they're handling block, but I think it's X% Chance to block X incoming dmg.
    Probably not a rating, because it may only appear on shields or other off-hand items.

    So we've got damage reduction on top of negation/dodge. Sweet.

    Yeah, sounds like a tank-ish char may actually be viable with the right gear/passives. Looking forward to that.

    I always like building Barb tanks but I have issues about halfway through nightmare with blocklocking.
    It's the only way I found the class even remotely interesting, and that was stretching it.
