    Radio DJ Interview Tape...

I was in the office of the Program Director (the guy who's in charge of the radio station content) who's in charge of our Top 40 radio station. He was listening to demo tapes for people to potentially hire for the night show position we have open.
This was by far one of the best demo cuts I've ever heard...
You guys may not appreciate it having not worked in radio...but I think you'll enjoy it ;-)

This is how the audio on the tape went:

DJ: It's Wild 99 FM...I'm Little D on your radio tonight! So what's up Lisa, hangin with your friends tonight?
Lisa (on the phone): Yea...we're headin out to the clubs tonight
DJ: Oh yea? Sounds pretty sweet! So, you uh...(hitting on her)..yo know, got a boyfriend?
    Lisa: I have a girlfriend.
DJ (caught off guard): Wha- you have a...
Lisa: Girlfriend, yea. Her name is Katie.
DJ: Whoa...so you like to yodel in the canyon!?
    Lisa (laughing): Damn straight!

Heh, I think I laughed so hard that I almost peed myself. The whole thing was live on the radio when it was recorded, which makes it even funnier.

Sounds about as witty as your average radio DJ, so I'm betting he did get the job.
