Hello, Im pretty new to the world of druids. I recently came back to d2 after break, so I might be abit rusty so all help I can get will be needed
I have a few questions that I would like to have answered or be redirected to a post where the answers might already be located at. I have been reading the forums a couple of hours now and cant really find what Im looking for, so some advice would be greatly appreciated.

First I want this to be a maxed out pvp char, so the best available gear possible is the final goal. But Im not sure what weapon/armor to use. Read stoutwolfs guide and he said eth tombreaver (will get it someday though! if its the best?), but kinda find it hard to find someone that has it. So what might be next best after that? keep hearing botd and ribby all the time? ribby still better for pvp even though crushing blow been nerfed? and if you get a botd what kind of weapon should it be? Great poleaxe or thundermaul and why? ^^ And for the armor, enigma or fortitude? I can see the advantages with both, should u maybe get both and switch depending on the opponent? and if so, what armor against what opponents? and last but not least I read in stoutwolfs guide that u can get a 6socked weapon,4 socked shield with 55poison rbfs and have on switch and it works even though u just switch for a sec, still possible? or have they nerfed that? would suck to get it and then notice it doesnt work at all

Ribcracker is a horrible weapon in PvP. The crushing blow is next to non-existant in damage vs players and the range on it is pitiful to boot.

and if you get a botd what kind of weapon should it be? Great poleaxe or thundermaul and why? ^^

For two hander use enotd Greater Poleaxe, faster attack speed, more range and faster damage over time then a Maul.

Ahhh i gotta leave now so can't answer rest of questions at the moment.

ribby is not a pvp weapon, the range and dmg is terrible, the crushin blow gets nurfed in pvp

botd-greater poleaxe for 2 handed reasons kiba stated, 1 handed zerker

for armor get both fort is used vs melee chars, and enigma is used for casters, the FRW is great on it

and the switch trick still works, dweb or a 30/30 wep are both viable, and a 20/20 shield will work wonders, just switch to those weps after uve bitten them with rabies then on the next cycle of rabies that dmg will take effect, so u can switch back to ur botd/dmg wep

Well I have to say that this was way faster replies then I have exptected Hat off to both Kiba and BAMFSpecialOps! and when Im still here I might as well ask what is more effective 55/5 dweb or 30/30 weapon? thx alot anyways =)

you should also get a bramble imo, if you can
i use it most of the time, the boost to rabies damage is really nice, and the fhr and resists arent bad either

Dweb is more effective if they don't ridiculously stack poison res. 30/30 is more effective if they do.

what i had for my old rabies/fury druid was great pole axe ebotd for my 2 hander. and when i was dueling against a melee character id use bramble,trang gloves, ebotd gpa and on switch perfect dweb and a 20/-20 psn monarch....did amazing dmg in pvp, 50k+ if i remeber right.

i use bramble/nig/fort and for most of my melee's i use fort/ebotdz/ss

both can be used, just different situations for both and the right time for either

how well did ur ebotd GPA work out in melee tho? i only switch to mine for casters for the range, i cant imagine goin into melee without a shield, cept for some ww barbs.

yes GPA good for range on casters i agree. when i said melee i was thinking back when i use to duel smiters, i used the 2 hander. its good to have all kinds of items in your stash for different situations,and all the different characters you will end up dueling. like enigma's frw good for hunting down them crazy fast zons, +2 skills dont hurt either.
