Quick sorc question

Ok, I've got a Meteorb sorc going, she's in a4 NM at the moment, lvl ~63.

My dilemma is her equipment, I've got all of Tal's set EXCEPT the armour, and i was wondering if it was worth using. It would either be the Tal's stuff, or a +2 sorc skills globe thing, and tarnhelm.

I'll be wearing the Tal's belt and amulet anyways, so my question i guess is, are the partial set bonuses with the helm and crystal worth it? or should i just keep my random gear?

Full Tal's set all the way!!!

I have a level ** Meteorb sorc, and when not MFing she uses the whole Tals set.

It gives you great MF on its own, as well as a huge addition to +skills.

Tals Set = priceless.

But since I was devastatigly tired when I foirst wrote that post, maybe I wasn't clear enough. I've been leaning towards Tal's, but I DO NOT have the armour. So I was wondering is it worth wearing if I don't have the armour?

Tal's belt/ammy/swirling crystal/helm
OR
Tal's belt/Tal's ammy/Tarnhelm/Rare crystal with +2 sorc skills, mana, life, etc.

Wich of those is a better combo?

Hope this time I managed to get my point across

Right now the tals ammy and belt will work, bonuses with the rest of the gear arn't that good untill you get the armor, so forget the rest of tye gear untill you get the armor. i would think about using a shako for the helm if you can get it, and an occy, if you don't have an occy any orb wity +2 to skills, any armor with +skills and fcr on it, i use vampire magi +1 skills, 30 fcr, 32 resist all. like every one else has said talls all the way if you have the whole set..

Tar helm will work, but shoot for the shako..

Personally I do not like Occy at all, random teleport is not a good thing but can be avoided. The neg to enemy resist( plus to cold dmg), and masteries more than make up for the skill lvls on the Oculus. Only negative is Tals Lidless Eye doesnt have the mf on it but I would trade the little mf there to bump dmg up and turn players setting up. Even without the armor Tals set is still hard to beat when playing Meteorb, it varies some for other builds but with Meteorb, only super high end stuff is a whole lot better than Tals. I would definitely recommend wearing Tals Mask, Ammy, Belt, and Orb over the other stuff you have now. As for resist, pick up a Moser Blessed Circle socketed with 2 Pdiamonds and it will help with your resist a lot.

As for your dilema, I will send you a Harley so you dont have to use Tarn any more, then Harley/Occy wins over all :)

Sounds like you need to click the thread link to Sam, Occy just can not compete with Tals Orb :flip: Other builds Tals isnt as good but for Meteorb, the neg to enemy resist and added cold dmg adds up quick especially with your hard blasting Meteor.

I agree with Milamber on The Oculus..It looked great in the beginning with the +skills and MF but it really becomes a bother in Hell with the random teleport..My sorc became a dying machine instead of a killing machine in Hell :lol: (me being a poor player might have contributed to that)..

I use Tal's ammy, belt and orb in my sorc now, and afaik it gives a bonus of +1 skill and 65% MF..Use it with a +skills armor and Harly, and it will work until you find the armor I think..

Thanks Sam...to be quite honest I hadn't even noticed!

Yeah too much time...will I ever learn? Probably not.

I also utilise a Shako on my MeteOrb sorc - but only while MF'ing.
