Basically because most people tend to think that a ''quick question'' is the same as a ''short question''. However, ''quick'' implies time management, where ''short'' implies the size of which is questioned. Sometimes on other boards people as for quick help as they are online and want to close a deal or trade, but need to know something before they do. All the other times the questions are small instead of quick.
This doesn't mean the answers have to be quick or short. There could be a long answer on rare and crafting probabillities and level involvement (which you're probably not after).
You're right Sint. But at least I wrote the question quickly and got a quick reply. It also started a discussion about the word "quick", which I'm quickly going to back out of, because my pasta is done.
