    Quick Pit Question

In the strategy compendium, it states that the Pits has alvl of 85, does that mean anything at all would be able to drop or just all of the base items (like from quilted armor to sacred armor)? If there is a limitation, what TC is pits able to drop up to?

    Cheers

The Pits in Hell can drop any item in the game, and not just the normal white ones, this includes all unique/set items as well. Same for any other level 85 area, that's why they are so popular to run for MF purposes.

L85 areas cannot produce any item on the game, but they can produce any unique or set item, although a few can be dropped only by the bosses and minions in there. A couple of affixes on charms and amulets need a too high affix level, like +2 skill amulets, a couple on elemental affixes and some +dmg affix on small charms, as well as 41+ life on grand charms.

Special cases are quest items, Hellfire Torches, Annihilus, Standard of Heroes and the Cow King set, of course.
